The iBPC-4081 CR is a fanless embedded Box PC built around a 64-bit Intel Atom E3845 quad-core processor running at 1.91 GHz. It suits engineers who need a compact, fan-free computer for industrial control, data handling and machine integration, with 4 GB of on-board DDR3 memory and a 2.5-inch SATA drive bay for storage.
Connectivity is well suited to field equipment. The unit provides two 10/100/1000BASE-T Ethernet ports, four serial ports (one RS-232, one RS-232/485 and two RS-232/422/485), four USB 2.0 host ports, VGA and HDMI display outputs, and microphone-in and earphone-out connectors. Two SMA antenna openings and an optional XV-board I/O expansion are also available, with a +10 ~ 30 VDC power input.
For dependable operation, the unit includes dual watchdog timers, a real-time clock, a 64-bit hardware serial number, 16 KB of EEPROM and 128 KB of MRAM for data retention. It operates from -25 ~ +70 °C and supports Win7, Win8, Win10, WES7 and Linux.
