The ET-7051 CR is an Ethernet remote I/O module that brings 16 wet contact digital inputs onto a Modbus network. Each channel can also be set up as a 32-bit counter, which makes the module suited to counting pulses from sensors, meters and switch contacts without a separate counting device.
Isolation is provided between the Ethernet side, the I/O side and the power input, with 2500 VDC rated for I/O and 1500 VDC for Ethernet. Channels are not isolated from one another. The module is designed for installations where hazardous voltages may be present on the input side.
The built-in web server and web HMI allow the module to be configured and monitored from a browser. Access is controlled through ID and password protection plus an IP filter, and the module offers a dual watchdog and I/O pair connection for supervised operation.
