The TPD-283-M1 CR is a compact 2.8-inch touch HMI with a 240 x 320 colour TFT display and resistive touch panel, designed for wall-mounted building and home automation control. It is powered over Ethernet under IEEE 802.3af, so one RJ-45 connection provides both network access and power, making it a practical replacement for mechanical switches with an intelligent control pad.
Programming suits both PLC and IT engineers. The free HMIWorks development tool includes Ladder Designer for PLC-style logic, while the C language environment supports custom communication protocols. Modbus TCP is supported out of the box for connecting to controllers on the network.
