PMD-4201-EN CR is a browser-configured power meter concentrator for energy measurement, monitoring and management. It polls ICP DAS power meters over RS-485 or Ethernet, records readings to a microSD card, and gives local and remote access to the data without a separate configuration tool.
Power demand management is handled on the device itself. A built-in IF-THEN-ELSE logic engine works with Modbus I/O modules to adjust equipment according to power status, and alarms can be sent by LINE, Telegram or Email. Connected devices can be shed when required, which suits sites that need to limit consumption in real time.
Integration with supervisory and IT systems uses Modbus TCP/RTU, SNMP, FTP and MQTT, along with connection to Microsoft Azure, IBM Bluemix and ICP DAS IoTstar Cloud. The 10.4" touch panel supports local viewing and parameter setting, and PoE is supported for power.
