The MQ-7253M brings 16 dry-contact digital inputs onto an Ethernet network and exchanges I/O data over MQTT 3.1 or Modbus TCP. It suits engineers connecting digital sensors into IIoT systems that need remote monitoring of switch states.
A built-in web server and web HMI let you configure the module and check network connection status and I/O status from a standard browser on a computer or mobile device. The 2-port 10/100 Base-TX switch with LAN bypass supports daisy-chain wiring, and dual watchdogs (module and communication) are provided.
Inputs are optically isolated with a 1500 VDC isolation rating and 2500 VDC transient overvoltage protection, but there is no channel-to-channel isolation. The module can be used where hazardous voltages are present. The ordering description identifies this variant as RoHS-compliant.
