The MN-SERVO-YSV-EC CR is a distributed single-axis motion control module for Motionnet networks, designed to drive a Yaskawa Sigma II, III or V servo driver. It connects directly to the servo driver, so axes can be added to a machine as a distributed extension.
Modules are chained with a standard Cat.5 LAN cable, which reduces the wiring between drivers and the controller. Each Motionnet line supports up to 64 single-axis modules, with transfer speeds of 2.5, 5, 10 and 20 Mbps and a pulse output of up to 6.6 MHz.
Motion features include multi-axis linear and 2-axis circular interpolation, T/S-curve acceleration and deceleration, and speed and position changes on the fly. The e-CON Mini-Clamp connector allows wire termination without debris, and three-way isolation separates power, communication and I/O.
