The M-7015P-G CR is a 6-channel RTD input module for temperature measurement with Pt100, Pt1000, Ni120, Cu50, Cu100 and Cu1000 sensors. Each channel can be set up for a different sensor type, so one module can serve mixed sensor arrangements on a single RS-485 network.
Its main selling point is automatic 3-wire lead resistance elimination, which keeps readings accurate over long cable runs. Combined with 16-bit resolution, an accuracy of ±0.05% of FSR and open wire detection, it suits remote temperature monitoring where cable length would otherwise degrade results.
The module communicates over one RS-485 port using Modbus RTU or DCON, selectable in software, with baud rates from 1200 to 115200 bps. The gray-cover variant is designed for DIN-rail mounting and a 10 to 30 VDC supply, with an operating range of -25 to +75 °C.
