The I-9094F is a four-axis motion control module for the XP-9000 and WP-9000 PAC series. It drives stepping or pulse-type servo motors and adds an FRnet master port to the full function set of the I-9094 series, so remote digital I/O can be added without extra wiring complexity.
Most motion tasks, including interpolation, T/S-curve acceleration and deceleration, automatic homing and synchronous actions, are handled by a dedicated motion ASIC. This leaves the PAC processor lightly loaded, so one or more of these modules can run in a single controller while motion status and other PAC I/O remain available for monitoring.
Engineers choosing this module for multi-axis positioning on a PAC get pulse output at up to 4 Mpps per axis, encoder feedback, and a two-wire FRnet link that scans 128 DI and 128 DO within 2.88 ms. Programming libraries and the EzGo Utility are supplied to shorten development.
