The I-7017R CR is an 8-channel analogue input module for RS-485 networks using the DCON protocol. It accepts both voltage and current signals and is built to tolerate faults that would damage standard inputs, with overvoltage protection up to 240 Vrms and a common voltage protection of ±200 VDC.
Each channel is 16-bit with differential inputs. Engineers can choose between normal mode at 10 Hz, with ±0.1% of FSR accuracy, and fast mode at 60 Hz, with ±0.5% of FSR accuracy, depending on whether measurement precision or update speed matters more. Individual channel configuration and 4 ~ 20 mA open wire detection are available on this model.
