The HRT-710-UTA CR is a HART master to Modbus slave gateway. It lets a Modbus master access HART devices such as transmitters and actuators, so their data can be integrated into an HMI or SCADA system without a separate HART interface on the host.
The gateway supports point-to-point and multi-drop HART topologies with up to 15 HART devices, using short and long frames and HART burst mode. On the serial side it supports Modbus RTU and Modbus ASCII over RS-232, RS-422 or RS-485. Each module presents its HART devices as Modbus slaves, and configuration and HART device diagnosis are handled with the HG_Tool software utility.
The CR ordering code is the variant built for the -40 ℃ application, with an operating range of -40 ~ +75 °C. It mounts on DIN-rail or on a wall in horizontal orientation.
