ET-7044 CR is a DIN-rail Ethernet I/O module that pairs eight wet-contact digital inputs with eight sink-type digital outputs. Each input can be used as a 32-bit counter, which suits pulse counting and event tracking on machines, building services and test equipment. Each output channel can switch a 300 mA load at 25 °C, so it can drive a power relay module directly.
The module communicates over Modbus TCP and Modbus UDP through a 10/100 Base-TX RJ-45 port. A built-in web server with Web HMI allows configuration and monitoring from a browser, and access is controlled by ID, password and IP filter. Dual programmable watchdogs cover the module and the communication link, and the digital outputs have programmable power-on and safe values for defined behaviour during start-up or fault conditions.
Electrical isolation is rated at 1500 VDC for the Ethernet side and 2500 VDC for the I/O side. The digital inputs and outputs are not isolated from each other channel to channel. The module is powered from a +10 ~ +30 VDC terminal block with reverse polarity protection, and it operates from -25 ~ +75 °C.
