The CAN-2024C CR is a DIN-rail CANopen slave module that drives four analogue outputs at 14-bit resolution. It suits engineers who need to control field actuators such as valves, drives and transducer inputs from a CANopen network without building custom fieldbus firmware.
Each channel can be configured for 0~5 V, ±5 V, 0~10 V, ±10 V, 0~20 mA or 4~20 mA output. Voltage output accuracy is ±0.1 % of FSR and current output accuracy is ±0.2 % of FSR. The module provides a hardware watchdog, a power-on value setting, and 3000 VDC isolation for DC-to-DC, with 2500 Vrms photo-coupler isolation on the CANopen side.
The module supports NMT slave operation, 10 RxPDOs and 10 TxPDOs with PDO mapping, and node IDs from 1 to 99. A default EDS file is provided, so it can be commissioned with other standard CANopen masters. The unit runs from +10 to +30 VDC, draws 2.5 W, and operates between -25 and +75 °C.
