The WISE-5231M-4GE is a metal-cased IIoT edge controller for remote logic control and monitoring of field I/O. Logic is configured through a web browser, so engineers can build IF-THEN-ELSE rules without writing code or installing additional software.
On the I/O side, the controller connects XV-board, DCON and Modbus RTU slave modules, as well as Modbus TCP slave modules, allowing one unit to gather data from mixed hardware. Timers, schedules, data logging and recipe operations support local automation, while LINE, SMS and email messages can report events in real time.
For remote connectivity, the 4G/3G interface and MQTT client allow data to reach IoT platforms such as Microsoft Azure and IBM Bluemix, or to be managed with ICP DAS IoTstar. The 4G frequency band is specified for EMEA, Korea, Thailand, India and Taiwan.
