IR-210-5 CR is a universal infrared learning module that captures IR remote commands from a wide range of consumer and AV equipment, stores them in the module, and replays them on demand. Its six independent IR outputs allow one device to control several targets at once or each output to drive a different device.
The module is designed for integration into automated systems. It accepts Modbus RTU commands and DCON ASCII strings over RS-232 or RS-485, so a PLC, PAC or PC can trigger IR commands directly. A PC API library is available for custom software, and the supplied utility handles learning, testing and storage of commands.
