The I-8024UW-G is a source-type analogue output module with four single-ended channels, suited to engineers who need to drive voltage or current signals from an I-8K/I-87K PAC I/O arrangement. Each channel can be set to its own range, from 0 ~ +5 VDC and ±5 VDC through to 0 ~ +10 VDC, ±10 VDC, 0 ~ +20 mA and +4 ~ +20 mA. Output type is selected by jumper, and open wire detection is available on the +4 ~ +20 mA range.
Each channel has a configurable power-on value and safe value, so outputs can start from a defined state and fall back to a known level. Short-circuit protection is fitted, and the module offers 2500 VDC intra-module isolation together with 3000 VDC isolation of the external power supply. Qualification for ±4 kV ESD contact protection at each terminal is also stated.
The module is typically used in data acquisition, process monitoring and control, vibration analysis and factory automation. This ordering code is the RoHS-marked version of the module. Certifications listed for this model are CE, UKCA, FCC, RoHS and WEEE.
