CAN-2088C CR is a CANopen slave module that turns digital outputs into PWM signals with adjustable frequency and duty cycle. Its eight PWM channels can drive analogue control circuits from a fieldbus master, so engineers can achieve proportional-style control without dedicated analogue output hardware.
Each of the eight digital input channels carries a 32-bit counter running at up to 500 kHz, allowing high speed pulse counting alongside the PWM outputs in the same node. PWM can be triggered by software or hardware, and each output can be started individually or all outputs can be triggered synchronously. Burst and Continuous output modes are supported.
The module follows CiA 301 v4.02 and CiA 401 v2.1, has passed the CANopen conformance test and is supplied with an EDS file for configuring the CANopen master. It mounts on DIN-rail and operates from -25 ~ +75 °C.
