iKAN-124-IP65 CR is a single-row LED message display for showing live PLC data as text. It offers 24 ASCII or 12 Unicode characters per line, with seven selectable colours and a text height of 16 cm, so operators can read status information from a distance on the shop floor.
Messages are configured through a web-based user interface over HTTP/HTTPS from a PC, smartphone or tablet. The display stores up to 128 messages with user-defined priorities and can combine text with up to 168 variables in one message. A PLC can show or hide messages through Modbus commands or send encoded strings for display, with no programming needed on the display itself.
Communication is available over two 10/100 Base-TX switch ports and two RS-485 ports, with a built-in real-time clock for date and time. The aluminium-cased unit is rated IP65, is wall-mounted, and is specified for 0 ~ +60 °C operation. It is suited to PLC message boards and indoor air quality displays fed by ICP DAS DL sensor modules.
