The XP-8337-CE6 combines a 1.0 GHz dual-core x86 processor with Windows CE 6.0 and an embedded ISaGRAF Ver.3 soft-logic engine. It suits engineers who want PLC-style control with IEC 61131-3 languages alongside the option of running PC-based control software on the same platform.
Three expansion slots accept high-profile I-8K parallel I/O modules or I-87K serial I/O modules. The unit has dual RJ-45 10/100/1000 Base-TX Ethernet ports, four USB 2.0 ports, a VGA output and a mix of RS-232 and RS-485 serial ports, so it can be integrated with local I/O, remote devices and a display in a single controller.
- Modbus RTU/TCP master and slave, with DCON, CANopen master and HART options listed in the protocol set
- Support for the eLogger HMI, so HMI and control logic can run in the same PAC
- Motion control support when used with the I-8094F, I-8094 or I-8092F modules
