The VP-2201-CE7 CR is a 7-inch ViewPAC that brings operator interface, computing and I/O together in a single panel-mount unit. It suits machine and process applications where a local touch screen, control logic and data acquisition need to share one device rather than separate HMI and PAC hardware.
Platform and display: The unit is built around a 1.0 GHz Cortex-A8 processor with 512 MB DDR3 SDRAM and 256 MB flash, running Windows CE 7.0. The 800 x 480 TFT LCD uses a 4-wire resistive touch panel, and a microSD slot (up to 32 GB) provides additional storage. Non-volatile MRAM and EEPROM support data retention.
Connectivity includes one 10/100/1000BASE-T Ethernet port, two RS-232/RS-485 serial ports with 2500 VDC isolation and two USB 2.0 host ports. I/O can be expanded using compatible Ethernet I/O modules and RS-485 I/O modules. The front panel is rated NEMA 4/IP65 and the fanless design is specified for -10 ~ +60 °C operation.
