USB-87P8-G CR expands I/O over a single USB port, giving engineers eight slots for I-87K series modules in one DIN-rail or wall-mounted unit. It suits installations where electrical noise and harsh conditions are expected, with a wide 10 ~ 30 VDC power input, isolated power and a -25 ~ +75 °C operating range.
Installation and maintenance are simplified by hot swapping, automatic configuration and LED indicators that show faults at a glance. Dual watchdog protection, programmable power-on behaviour and programmable safe values add further control for safety-conscious designs.
More than 30 I-87K modules are supported, covering analog input and output, digital input and output, counter and frequency functions. The unit ships with DLL, LabVIEW, InduSoft, Linux and OPC server software options, so modules can be integrated into a range of software systems.
