USB-2068-18 adds digital input and relay output channels to a PC over a single USB 2.0 full-speed connection. It suits engineers who need plug-and-play I/O expansion without a separate power supply, as the module is powered from the USB bus and requires no driver installation.
The 10 digital inputs can be wired as dry or wet contacts, and all channels can run as 32-bit counters at up to 500 Hz. The 8 Form C (SPDT) relay outputs have configurable power-on and safe values, and a dual watchdog helps the module keep operating in demanding environments. The product is rated for an operating range of -25 ~ +75 °C.
Windows and Linux users can build their own applications with the supplied API library and demo programs with source code, using VB, C++, C#.NET, VB.NET or LabVIEW. This ordering code includes a 1.5 m USB cable (CA-USB15).
