The I-9093 CR is a three-axis encoder module for the I-9K/I-97K series. Each axis has a 32-bit counter that reads encoder signals at up to 6 MHz in CW/CCW and Pulse/Dir modes. Its compare trigger outputs fire at set positions with periodic pulses, and the position comparison and pulse generation run entirely in hardware, so the host system carries no software calculation load during operation.
Each axis supports Quadrant, CW/CCW and Pulse/Dir encoder modes, with a programmable digital filter from 1 to 250 μs. Reset and latch signal inputs are selectable, and the input threshold is set by jumper to either +3.5 to +5 VDC or 10 to 24 VDC.
The module provides 3000 VDC intra-module isolation and 2500 VDC photo-isolation on the encoder inputs. It draws 2 W maximum and is rated for operation from -25 to +75 °C. Dimensions are 31 x 134 x 144 mm (W x L x H).
