The I-8014CW-G CR is an analog input module for engineers who need fast, accurate current measurement across eight differential channels. Each channel is sampled with 16-bit resolution, and single-channel pacer mode reaches 250 kS/s, with a ±20 mA input range and 2500 VDC intra-module isolation.
The Magic Scan function lets individual channels be scanned at different input ranges while keeping the sampling rate at 250 kS/s during single-channel scans. It can run as a standard scan or as a Virtual Sample and Hold function, which offers a lower-cost alternative to hardware sample-and-hold on many analogue cards.
A 4 K-sample onboard FIFO buffer stores conversion results. When the sample count passes a pre-defined FIFO level, an interrupt notifies the host. Combined with post-trigger external trigger mode and internal or external trigger start, this suits high-speed and time-critical acquisition tasks such as vibration analysis.
