The HRT-710 CR bridges HART field devices onto a Modbus network. It acts as the HART master and exposes each connected device as a Modbus slave, so an HMI or SCADA system can read HART data using its standard Modbus RTU or ASCII communication.
Up to 15 HART devices can be connected in point-to-point or multi-drop topology, and the unit supports two HART masters. Configuration and HART device diagnosis are handled through the HG_Tool software utility, and firmware can be updated via the COM port. Loop power is not supplied by this model.
