EC4-P16 CR is a slim-profile EtherCAT SubDevice that brings 16 optically separated digital inputs onto an EtherCAT network. It suits engineers who need dense, isolated discrete input capacity in a narrow DIN-rail footprint without adding separate fieldbus hardware for each group of sensors or switches.
Each input supports both wet contacts (sink or source, with an ON level of +19 V to +30 V) and dry contacts that close to GND. Isolation is rated at 3000 VDC. The module offers a 100 μs cycle time and supports Distributed Clocks, and its removable terminal block and per-channel LED indicators simplify wiring and commissioning.
The module is powered from +24 VDC, draws 2 W, and is specified for operation from -25 to +70 °C with a plastic casing. It can be mounted on DIN-rail or wall. CE, UKCA, FCC, RoHS and WEEE are listed on the source data.
