DN-843I-CT-20 CR is a three-channel current transformer module that brings high-current AC and DC measurement within reach of standard analogue input modules. Each channel accepts up to ±20 A and attenuates it linearly to a ±10 Vpp output, so the signal can be read directly by compatible I/O hardware.
The "I" version provides 3000 VDC intra-module isolation and 3000 VDC channel-to-channel isolation, which keeps noise from passing between inputs, outputs and channels. The closed solid-core design has an inside diameter of 20.4 x 10.4 mm, and the module is intended for use with the I-7017 and I-87017 analogue input modules.
The plastic housing mounts on DIN rail and runs from a +10 VDC to +24 VDC supply over an operating range of -25 ~ +75 °C. Standard EMS protection includes ESD immunity to ±4 kV contact and ±8 kV air discharge.
