The R-9017C1H CR is a redundancy-capable analog input module for engineers who need eight channel-isolated current inputs with HART device access. Each channel accepts 4~20 mA signals and measures up to 0~24 mA, covering the ±25% overrange band, at 16-bit resolution and ±0.05% FSR accuracy.
Built-in HART master communication allows the module to read HART device information directly, with the HART topology set to master in a monodrop (point-to-point) configuration. Channel loop power of 28 VDC is available to simplify field wiring, and the module reports channel high/low alarms and break-line conditions through its LEDs and diagnostics.
The module must be used with a terminal board, either RDB-S09 or RDB-D09, and it detects terminal board disconnection to help keep wiring reliable. Within the RIO-98x0 redundancy design, the system can keep running if a single I/O module fails, with a switching time below 1 ms. The CR suffix denotes the RoHS-compliant version.
