The RIO-9830 CR is a modular redundant remote I/O system for industrial monitoring where downtime and maintenance effort need to be kept low. Its Modbus TCP server lets it connect to Ethernet-based supervisory systems, and its eight slots accept a mix of input and output modules.
Redundancy runs through the whole unit. Power, communication and I/O can each be duplexed, so the eight slots can be configured as eight single channels or as four redundant pairs. Modules can be hot-swapped without interrupting system operation, and parameters are configured automatically when a module is fitted.
This CR ordering code is supplied as a kit that includes two RPM-D24 power modules and two RCM-MTCP communication modules. Status is shown on a seven-segment display, and abnormal events are recorded to Micro SD with an RTC timestamp for fault diagnosis.
