The I-8411 CR is a 4-slot serial embedded controller built around an 80188-40 CPU and the DOS-like MiniOS7 operating system. Its four slots accept I-8K and I-87K series I/O modules, so engineers can assemble a control node sized to the job, covering digital, analog, counter/frequency and motion modules.
Four serial COM ports, comprising two RS-232 ports, one RS-485 port and one RS-232/RS-485 port, support remote data acquisition and control. Battery-backed S-256 or S-512 SRAM modules add data logger storage.
This blue-cover variant includes a 5-digit seven-segment display, four push buttons and an 8-bit DIP switch for addressing. It runs from a +10 ~ 30 VDC supply, draws 3.9 W and is rated for operation at -25 ~ +75 °C. It mounts on DIN-rail or wall.
