The tPET-PD6 CR is a compact Ethernet I/O module that brings six dry-contact digital inputs onto a 10/100 Base-Tx network. It suits engineers who need remote status monitoring and counting without a large footprint, with configuration handled through the built-in web server.
Each input supports latched DI, 32-bit counting and frequency measurement, and the module can pair its DI channels with a remote DO device over Ethernet, polling local inputs and writing to the remote device in the background. Communication runs over Modbus TCP, Modbus UDP or MQTT, so it can be integrated with HMI, SCADA, PLC and other software systems.
Power can come from PoE (IEEE 802.3af, Class 1) over a standard Category 5 cable, or from a +12 to +48 VDC terminal block input where no PoE switch is available. A CPU watchdog and a host watchdog help maintain operation, and the module mounts on DIN-rail or can be embedded directly into a machine.
