The tM-P4C4 CR is an RS-485 remote I/O module for on/off control jobs where both input sensing and output switching need to be electrically isolated. It combines four source-type digital inputs with four sink-type (NPN) digital outputs, each side protected by photocoupler isolation with 3750 VDC intra-module isolation.
Every input channel can be run as a 16-bit counter, counting up to 65535, with a 100 Hz frequency and a minimum pulse width of 5 ms. The outputs are rated at 700 mA per channel and include short-circuit protection, and both the power-on value and the safe value of each output can be programmed, so the field state is defined if communication is interrupted. Dual watchdogs cover the module and the communication link.
The module is powered from a 10 ~ 30 VDC terminal block with reverse polarity protection, draws 0.5 W maximum, and mounts on a DIN rail. It operates from -25 ~ +75 °C and is rated for 10 ~ 95% RH, non-condensing.
