iNS-316 CR is a 16-port IoT switch with 16 RJ-45 10/100Base-TX ports, all PoE/PoE+ PSE capable and compliant with IEEE 802.3af/at. Each port can supply up to 30 W from a 48 to 57 VDC power input, making it suited to powering cameras and other remote PoE devices from a single switch cabinet.
Each PoE port has its own power on/off schedule and power reset schedule, so devices can be switched off when not needed to save energy, or cycled regularly to keep them running well. The built-in web GUI shows Ethernet status along with PoE voltage, current and consumption. Ports 15 and 16 support Ethernet bypass through daisy chaining, so the data path is maintained if the unit loses power.
Dual power inputs can be connected to live DC sources at the same time, so the unit keeps running if one supply fails. The manufacturer recommends a dual input supply when total PoE load exceeds 60 W. With SNMP v2c, Modbus and MQTT support, the switch can also be integrated into monitoring and control systems, and it includes a relay alarm output.
