The PMD-2201-EN is a panel-mounted power meter concentrator that gathers readings from ICP DAS Modbus power meters over RS-485 or Ethernet and stores them locally. Its built-in web server lets engineers view live and historical power data and set up the system from any browser, so no additional software tool or programming is needed.
A 7-inch TFT display with a resistive touch panel provides on-site viewing and parameter setting. Connected Modbus I/O modules can be controlled from the power status, and an IF-THEN-ELSE logic engine supports power demand management, including load shedding where required. Alarms can be sent by LINE, Telegram or Email.
For system integration, the unit supports Modbus TCP/RTU, SNMP, FTP and MQTT, and can connect to Microsoft Azure and IBM Bluemix IoT platforms. Power data is logged to a microSD card and sent back automatically once a disconnected network is restored. It can be powered from 12 ~ 48 VDC or from PoE (IEEE 802.3af).
