PMC-2246M CR is a power meter concentrator for energy monitoring and management in Industry 4.0 installations. It gathers readings from ICP DAS Modbus power meters over RS-485 or Ethernet and brings them into one browser-based system, so energy use can be tracked by device and analysed without writing control code.
Power data can be shown in real time or as historical records, with statistics reports available from the browser. A microSD card stores power data log files, which are sent back automatically to the back-end system when a network connection is restored. An IF-THEN-ELSE logic engine supports power demand management, and I/O modules can be switched according to power status or a schedule. Alarm messages can be sent via LINE, Telegram, Email or WeChat; the WeChat option requires an Enterprise WeChat account in China.
For integration with SCADA, MES, IT, IoT or network management systems, the unit supports Modbus TCP/RTU, SNMP, FTP and MQTT, and can connect to Microsoft Azure, IBM Bluemix and ICP DAS IoTstar Cloud software.
