The ALM-Horn-BR CR is a piezo alarm siren that gives an audible and visual alert from a single dry-contact signal. Its water-clear upper cover houses 8 blue and 8 red ultra-bright LEDs, with blue indicating system status and red indicating alarm status. Four selectable alarm tones are set by DIP switch, so one unit can be matched to the sound expected on site.
The unit accepts a dry-contact input from alarm sources such as security, building automation or fire alarm devices, with NC or NO input mode selected by switch. A single open-collector output is available for passing the signal on. The siren is rated at 120 ±5 dB at 10 cm / 3.0 kHz without the waterproof membrane, and carries IP43 protection.
Choose this model when you need a self-contained alarm siren rather than a networked device. The -WF and -MRTU variants add WLAN and RS-485 Modbus connectivity respectively. The ALM-Horn-BR CR is supplied for panel or wall mounting and operates from -20 ~ +75 °C.
