WP-5231M-CE7 is a Windows CE 7.0 PAC built around a 1 GHz Cortex-A8 processor with 512 MB DDR3 SDRAM and hard real-time capability. It suits engineers who want a Windows-based controller with a built-in VGA display, several serial links and an expansion path for I/O through an XV-board.
Storage comprises 256 MB Flash, 64 KB FRAM for data retention and an optional microSD card of up to 32 GB. Development support includes .Net Compact Framework 3.5, DLLs for VC and Visual Studio .NET 2008, and built-in FTP and web servers with an embedded SQL Server.
Connectivity covers one 10/100/1000BASE-T Ethernet port, two RS-232 and two RS-485 serial ports (one RS-485 port is 2500 VDC isolated), and a USB 2.0 host port. The unit runs from +12 ~ 48 VDC over -25 ~ +75 °C and has a metal casing rated IP30, for DIN-rail or wall mounting.
