VPD-170-IRT CR is a touch-screen data concentrator for iSN-81x infrared temperature sensing modules. It lets a remote monitoring host read temperature data from several iSN-81x modules through a single Ethernet connection, supporting up to 8 Modbus TCP client connections.
The 7-inch colour touch screen provides local access to the configuration of both the iSN-81x modules and the concentrator itself. Engineers can view measured temperatures and thermal images at the device, and set temperature thresholds that drive nine Form A signal relay outputs for alarm purposes.
Suited to control cabinets and machine rooms where inspection points are numerous, the unit supports centralised temperature monitoring with Modbus TCP and Modbus RTU on its serial ports. It is powered either by PoE (IEEE 802.3af, Class 1) or from a +12 ~ 48 VDC terminal block, and the price list entry for this code notes that the XV-board is included.
