The PROFI-5052 CR is a PROFIBUS DP-V0 slave remote I/O module with 12 isolated digital inputs that accept sink or source signals. It is configured with a GSD file and mounts on DIN-rail.

The PROFI-5052 CR adds 12 isolated digital inputs to a PROFIBUS DP network as a DP-V0 slave. It suits engineers who need discrete field signals brought onto a PROFIBUS bus without building custom interface hardware. Each input works in sink or source mode and is isolated from the others.
Integration is straightforward. The module is configured through its GSD file in any PROFIBUS configurator, the transmission rate is detected automatically, and the node address is set from 0 to 99 using rotary switches. Input isolation is rated at 5000Vrms, and high-speed iCoupler isolation separates the network side from the logic.
Status is shown by PWR and RUN LEDs. The module draws 1 W, has an operating range of -25 ~ +75℃, and is intended for DIN-rail installation in factory and process automation systems.
