The LX-9381 CR combines computing, I/O and operator interface in one metal-cased unit. Its Intel E3845 quad-core processor, Linux kernel 4.14.12 and three I/O expansion slots make it suited to projects where HMI, data acquisition and control must run on the same controller.
Three local slots accept ICP DAS I-9K and I-97K series I/O modules, and remote expansion is possible through Ethernet I/O and RS-485 I/O modules. Application programs can be stored on a CF card or USB mass storage device, and the LinPAC SDK with its GCC-based toolchain supports development of LinPAC I/O applications in GNU C.
Built-in services include a web server, FTP and SFTP, Telnet and SSH, supporting remote configuration and maintenance. A 64-bit hardware serial number is available for software copy protection, and a dual watchdog timer and redundant power input add to system robustness.
