I-8057 CR is a 16-channel digital output module from the I-8K/I-87K low-profile series, suited to switching field loads in automation and control panels. Each channel uses a photocoupler-isolated open-collector output configured as sink (NPN), with a load voltage range of +5 VDC to +30 VDC and up to 100 mA per channel.
Engineers choose this module when they need galvanic separation between the control side and the field wiring. It provides 3750 VDC intra-module isolation and ±4 kV ESD protection on each terminal, and an LED indicator for every output helps with commissioning and fault finding.
