I-7017F CR is an 8-channel analog input module for RS-485 networks using the DCON protocol. Channels can be configured as eight differential inputs or as six differential and two single-ended inputs, selected by a jumper. Voltage and current signals are both accepted, with 16-bit resolution across all channels.
The fast sampling version allows the engineer to choose between a 60 Hz fast mode and a 10 Hz normal mode, trading accuracy against update rate. Current inputs need an optional external 125 Ω resistor, and open wire detection is available for 4 ~ 20 mA signals. Built-in dual watchdog functions and 3000 VDC intra-module isolation support reliable operation in automation and monitoring installations.
The blue-cover variant is supplied with the RoHS-compliant configuration. Its DIN-rail mounting, 10 ~ +30 VDC power input and -25 ~ +75 °C operating range suit control cabinets in building, factory and machine automation, as well as remote diagnosis and test equipment.
