The tPET-PD2R1 CR is a tiny Ethernet I/O module that combines two dry-contact digital inputs with a single Form A power relay output. It suits engineers who need remote monitoring and switching on an IP network without a bulky controller, and it is designed to be fitted in small enclosures or directly into machinery.
Power can come from a PoE switch under IEEE 802.3af (Class 1) over a standard Cat 5 cable, or from a +12 to +48 VDC supply on the terminal block, giving redundant power inputs. Configuration is handled through the built-in web server, and access can be restricted with a password and IP filter.
The module supports Modbus TCP, Modbus UDP and MQTT, so it can be integrated with HMI, SCADA, PLC and other software systems. Its dual-watchdog function and programmable Safe Value on the outputs help keep the process in a defined state if the host or the module firmware fails.
