HRT-310-UTA CR is a HART master gateway that bridges serial HART field devices and Modbus networks. The Modbus master accesses HART devices through the gateway, so transmitters, actuators and similar instruments appear as Modbus slaves to an HMI, SCADA system or PLC. Configuration and HART device diagnosis are handled with the HG_Tool software utility.
The gateway supports point-to-point and multi-drop HART topologies with up to 15 HART devices, using short and long frames and burst mode. Two HART masters can be allowed, and long frame addresses are acquired automatically. Modbus RTU and Modbus ASCII are both supported in Modbus slave mode over RS-232, RS-422 or RS-485.
This CR variant is intended for -40 ℃ applications, with an operating range of -40 ~ +75 °C. It is designed for DIN-rail mounting in an upright orientation and runs from an unregulated +10 ~ +30 VDC supply.
