DN-DO-16DR-A is a relay termination board that serves digital output channels 0 to 15. Each channel is fitted with a Form C (SPDT) relay, so every output provides both a normally open and a normally closed contact. Engineers can wire the channel for positive logic (N.O.), negative logic (N.C.), or use both contacts from the same output to extend control logic.
Each channel carries two varistors, one across the N.O. contact and one across the N.C. contact, to suppress high-voltage transients and surges on the control loop. The relays are removable, which simplifies replacement and maintenance without rewiring the field side.
The board is rated at 6 A rated current (10 A maximum peak) and 250 VAC rated voltage (400 VAC maximum switching voltage), with a relay operate time of 8 ms and a release time of 5 ms. It mounts on a DIN rail or on a wall and operates from -25 ~ 75 °C.
