The DB-8R is a connection board that brings limit switch and digital input/output wiring from the SERVO-300 and PISO-PS300(U) to screw terminals. Eight relay channels are fitted to switch higher currents on the digital outputs than the controller can drive directly.
Field wiring is made to screw terminals on a DIN-rail mounted I/O block, with pin-to-pin connection to the 25-pin D-Sub connector. The order includes a CA-2520 25-pin D-Sub cable, 2.0 m long, so the board can be connected to the controller straight away.
