The DB-16P CR is a 16-channel isolated digital input daughter board for the A-82X board, any 812pg, 711, 726 or 720 series board, and PCI-Bus multi-function boards. Each channel uses a bi-directional opto-coupler with a resistor for current sensing, so the board works with both DC and AC inputs.
Use it to sense DC signals from TTL levels up to 24 V or a wide range of AC signals. Optical isolation protects the host computer from large common-mode voltages, ground loops and voltage spikes that are common in industrial environments.
- ON level: 2.8 VDC~24VDC (max), or 4 VAC~24VAC (max) at 1KHz
- OFF level: 1 VDC (max), or 1 VAC (max) at 1KHz
- Response speed: 20us without filter / 2.2ms with filter
- Power consumption: 12V /0.53A ; 5V / 0.2A
