The tPET-P2POR2 CR is a compact Ethernet I/O module for remote monitoring and switching of digital signals. It combines two wet-contact digital inputs with two PhotoMOS relay outputs, and it can be reached over a 10/100 Mbit/s Ethernet network using Modbus TCP, Modbus UDP or MQTT, which makes it straightforward to connect to HMI, SCADA, PLC or other software systems.
Beyond basic I/O, the module can be configured to link a local digital input to a remote digital output over Ethernet, with the status polled and written in the background. A dual-watchdog arrangement covers both the module's own CPU and the host controller, and the outputs can be set to a predefined safe value if the host fails. Power can come from PoE (IEEE 802.3af, Class 1) or from a +12 to +48 VDC terminal block input.
The housing is designed for DIN-rail mounting and measures 52 x 95 x 27 mm (W x L x H), with an operating temperature range of -25 ~ +75 °C. The built-in web server, password and IP filter access control, and firmware updates over Ethernet simplify commissioning and maintenance of distributed installations.
