The VP-5201-CE7 CR is a standard 12.1-inch ViewPAC that brings operator interface, computing and control into a single panel-mounted unit. It suits applications where an HMI, data acquisition and control logic need to share one device, rather than being split across a separate panel PC and PLC.
At its core is a 1.0 GHz Cortex-A8 processor running Windows CE 7.0, with 512 MB DDR3 SDRAM, 256 MB Flash (SSD), 128 KB MRAM and 16 KB EEPROM for data retention, and an SD card slot supporting up to 32 GB. The 800 x 600 TFT LCD has a resistive 5-wire touch panel. Connectivity includes one 10/100/1000BASE-T Ethernet port, three RS-232/RS-485 serial ports with 2500 VDC isolation, and two USB 2.0 host ports. I/O can be expanded using Ethernet and RS-485 I/O modules.
The unit is designed for panel installation, with an NEMA 4/IP65 rated front panel and a fanless design rated for -10 to +60 °C. Power is accepted from +12 to 48 VDC or from PoE, and the built-in real-time clock, dual watchdog timer and 64-bit hardware serial number support long-running and software-protected deployments.
