The R-9019 CR brings 16 thermocouple input channels into an RIO-98x0 redundant I/O system. Each channel uses a 16-bit A/D converter and can be scaled to a user-defined measurement range, so one module can serve a mix of sensor types and temperature spans across a plant.
Channel and termination board disconnection detection help engineers catch faulty wiring early, while per-channel LEDs flag high and low alarm conditions and open circuits. The module connects to field signals through an RDB-S02 or RDB-D02 terminal board, which is also monitored for disconnection. Redundant switching completes in under 1 ms, so the system can keep running if a single I/O module fails.
Choose the R-9019 CR where accurate thermocouple readings and wiring supervision matter, such as building, factory and machine automation, remote diagnosis and test rigs. Its 3000 VDC isolation between the power supply and the backplane bus helps it resist electrical noise. The module operates from -25 °C to +70 °C.
