The I-9037P CR is a 16-channel digital output module for PAC I/O applications in the I-9K/I-97K series. Each channel is a source-type (PNP) output with photo-coupler isolation, so it can switch loads of +5 to +30 VDC at up to 700 mA per channel.
Engineers typically select this module where output channels must withstand electrically noisy plant conditions. Short-circuit protection, 60 VDC overvoltage protection, 4 kV contact ESD protection and 3750 VDC intra-module isolation help protect the module and the control side of the system.
Power-on and safe output values can be configured, so outputs can be set to a defined state at start-up or in a safe state. Channel status LEDs and a power and communication LED simplify commissioning and fault finding. The module draws 1 W maximum and operates from -25 to +75 °C.
